1) Myntra founders to earn Rs 427 crore from Flipkart-Myntra merger

The acquisition will also turn many employees into millionaires, as they own about one sixth of the company’s shares.

Online product discovery platform Doozton has been bought by Japer Infotech, the company that manages and runs Snapdeal. The startup, which was started in 2013 by IIT graduate Pushpendra Singh, offers wardrobe suggestions for shoppers online.

4) In 2 years’ time, mobile shopping will overtake all other channels: Flipkart

With close to 20% shoppers purchasing online using mobile phones at present, Flipkart expects it to become the most preferred shopping channel for online shoppers within 2 years. In the next 3 years, the number of mobile shoppers is expected to rise to 60%.
